SRT Brand Guidelines

SRT is a registered trademark of Haivision. Use of the SRT name and logos must follow the guidelines outlined on this page. A full copy of the SRT Brand Guidelines is included in the official logo package for reference.

Trademark Use & Attribution

While SRT is a trademark of Haivision, the community is encouraged to reference SRT” freely when describing compatibility or interoperability within technical documentation, specifications, and marketing materials, as long as they follow the usage guidelines.

Usage rules:

  • The SRT mark may be used without the ™ or ® symbol
  • The first reference to SRT should note it was “created, open-sourced, and maintained by Haivision”
  • The SRT name must not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with Haivision without written permission

“Our platform supports SRT, a protocol created, open-sourced, and maintained by Haivision.”

Prohibited Uses

Use of the SRT name or logos is not permitted in the following circumstances:

Implying Haivision endorsement or partnership where none exists

Brand Misrepresentation

Any use that misrepresents or harms the SRT or Haivision brands

SRT Logos & Image Marks

SRT Alliance members are granted access to official logos and image marks that signify support and interoperability with the SRT standard. Logos must not be altered, stylized, or combined with other brand elements.

SRT Logo

The primary SRT logo represents the protocol itself and may be used by any organization implementing SRT technology.
Eligibility:

Available to any organization using SRT under the MPL license
SRT Alliance logo - black

SRT Alliance Logo

Official logo representing membership in the SRT Alliance organization.
Eligibility:

Reserved for official SRT Alliance members only
SRT Ready logo

SRT Ready Logo

Indicates that a product has integrated SRT technology and is available to customers.
Eligibility:  
  • Available to members with SRT integrated into shipping products
  • Self-certified
  • Product must be publicly available

Premium certification for products that have passed official interoperability testing.
Eligibility:

Reserved for members who passed official SRT InterOp Plugfest testing

Logo Usage Summary

SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) is an open-source video transport protocol created and maintained by Haivision and released under the Mozilla Public License (MPL).

The guidelines below explain how SRT trademarks and logos may be used.

Legal Notice
Unauthorized or misleading use of SRT trademarks or logos may result in revoked privileges or legal action. The SRT Alliance reserves the right to revoke logo usage at its discretion.
