Newsbridge, a cloud-based solution offering video indexing tools based on Multimodal AI contribution for publishers and broadcasters recently announced its membership of the SRT Alliance. By integrating the SRT open source protocol into their solution, Newbridge ensures that its clients are able to produce deliverables with a simplified and less stressful experience. During the recent global lockdown, when internet traffic was highly impacted due to increased video usage (Netflix, YouTube etc)  it led to ISPs throttling users’ bandwidths in order to maintain their Quality of Service, with SRT transmissions not impacted.  Newsbridge CTO, Frédéric Petitpont commented: “Here at Newsbridge, I can now say that there is definitely a post-lockdown state in which SRT is deeply rooted in our product.”
