Metus, a leading developer of file-based management, transcoding, video capture, and play solutions has announced a new upgrade on Ingest Professional that expands the software’s streaming capabilities. Version 5.6.6.1 improves new support for multiple streaming technologies including the Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocol developed and open-sourced by Haivision.
