These Membership Terms govern participation in the SRT Alliance. By submitting a membership application, the applicant agrees to the terms outlined below.
Authorization and Representation
By submitting an application, the applicant represents and warrants that they are authorized to act on behalf of their organization and have the authority to bind the organization to these Membership Terms. The applicant further grants permission for the SRT Alliance to list the organization as a member and to use the organization’s name and logo in accordance with the SRT Brand Guidelines.
Membership Approval
Submission of an application does not guarantee membership. All applications are subject to review and approval by Haivision Systems Inc. The SRT Alliance reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to approve or deny any application. Membership may be revoked at any time if these terms are violated or if the SRT name or trademarks are misused.
Use of the SRT Name and Logo
SRT® is a registered trademark of Haivision Systems Inc. Members may use the official SRT Alliance logo only as provided and strictly in accordance with the published
SRT Brand Guidelines. The SRT name may not be incorporated into company names, product names, branding, or marketing materials in a manner that suggests ownership, endorsement, or partnership with Haivision unless expressly authorized in writing. Any unauthorized or misleading use of the SRT name or logo may result in termination of membership.
Membership Conduct
Members agree to represent their participation in the SRT Alliance accurately and in good faith. Membership does not imply endorsement, certification, or partnership with Haivision Systems Inc. Members shall not make public statements that misrepresent their relationship with the SRT Alliance or Haivision.
Intellectual Property
Membership in the SRT Alliance does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property. Members retain ownership of their own products and technologies. Contributions to the SRT open-source project remain subject to the Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL 2.0). Nothing in these Membership Terms grants any license to Haivision intellectual property beyond the limited rights expressly provided herein.
Termination
Haivision Systems Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership at any time for breach of these Membership Terms, misuse of the SRT brand, or conduct inconsistent with the objectives of the Alliance. Upon termination, all rights to use the SRT Alliance logo or reference membership status shall immediately cease.
Limitation of Liability
The SRT Alliance and Haivision Systems Inc. shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or relating to membership participation, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
