Montreal, Canada – March 28, 2019 – The SRT Alliance, supporting the SRT Open Source Project, announces that Avid® has endorsed the SRT protocol for low-latency video streaming.
As the newest member of the SRT Alliance, Avid joins more than 200 companies, including Microsoft, Comcast, EBU/Eurovision, Harmonic, Ateme, MediaKind, Brightcove, and Kaltura, who have shown their support of the emerging SRT video streaming standard.
